R&P Chat 38-7 Limit Breaking 2: Electric Boogaloo with Chris Wisner!

It’s like a fireside chat, except we’re concerned about fire and we only talk about video games. And sometimes soup, and sometimes what Pernell is drinking during the podcast. Which is usually soup. Joining us in the hot (not quite on fire) seat this week is none other than THE WISE GUY himself: Chris Wisner! Musashi219 on Twitch! We’re chatting about our favorite RPG memories, video game conventions, and more!

Chris is taking part in RPG Limit Break, an event benefiting the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Please consider donating and check them out during the event! It starts May 18th and goes on through the 24th. More information over at https://rpglimitbreak.com

  1. A guy at square enix said that for kingdom hearts HD remake, they had to basically rebuild the game from scratch. At the time they had no idea it would become such a phenomenon, and weren’t in the mindset of saving the code for eventual remasters decades later. The games took up a lot of memory on the workstations, and when finished with a game they would just delete everything to make space for the next project. I don’t know about coding, but I imagine it’s a lot harder to reverse engineer from a copy of the game with PlayStation and beyond, than in the 8/16 bit era.
