Not to be a buzzkill or anything, but I actually requested the Master System version of that Aqua Planet Zone track, which is actually slightly different than the Game Gear one 😛

For comparison:

I never owned a Game Gear, so my experience with Sonic Chaos was importing the Master System version which has a bigger resolution than the Game Gear version, meaning that it had a wider view of the level!

The two versions of the game are pretty similar, but have some differences (including the music arrangement and introductory level graphics).

I ran into Pernell a few weeks ago and got a reccommendation to give the podcast a listen – and I’m glad I did! Not only do I get to hear funny banter, but I also get to listen to some kick-ass music…
