“The 1st Tide” is not the ending theme haha! “Courage and Hope” which also plays in the fourth and eighth stages of the game as well as the credit scroll at the end of the game. It also happens to be my favorite track!
I first played Intelligent Qube like many others did, off a PlayStation demo disc. It had a striking impression on me, so when I got the full game many years later, I was in love with it, like this soundtrack (from the composer of Godzilla 2000 and Martian Successor Nadiesco no less) is just exquisite!
So Pernell, you definitely need to check Intelligent Qube out! It’s a bit of a pricey game on the second hand market, but it is on the upcoming PlayStation Classic! There’s also a PSP version of the game called I.Q Mania which is also pretty good and is fairly cheap online (only came out in Asia, but the PSP is region-free, so it’ll work on any region!)

Thank you! I love this game, it captured my imagination the same way 🙂 I’m going to lend my disk to Pernell so he can try it, he’s a puzzle guy so he should be into it
